David Wright has served as an active-duty chaplain in the U.S. Army since 2015. Prior to this, his wife Amanda and he worked as children’s pastors for ten years at churches in Alaska and West Virginia. Chaplain Wright served as a medic in the Army Reserve from 2000-2008 and later commissioned at Officer Candidate School in 2012. David attended the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri from 2013-2015 while working at a third church. He first met Amanda when they attended Central Bible College, also in Springfield. They married in 2001 and have three children, Zion, Anna, and Levi.
